Burton YMCA is seeking a proactive, reliable and motivated Facilities Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, compliant, well-maintained and welcoming for the people we support, our staff, volunteers and visitors.
As a charity, our buildings play a vital role in delivering our services, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating safe and welcoming environments where people can live, work and thrive. You will undertake a range of maintenance, repair and facilities management tasks, helping to ensure our sites remain fit for purpose and support the delivery of our services.
The successful candidate will have experience in facilities, maintenance or property-related work and will bring practical skills, initiative and a positive approach. You will be organised, able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, contractors and visitors, and have a strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants to make a positive difference through the role they play within Burton YMCA.
Whether you already have experience in facilities management, property maintenance or a similar role, or have strong transferable skills, we would love to hear from you.

- Salary: £29,000
- Hours: Full time- 40 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Burton YMCA is seeking a proactive, organised and motivated Facilities Administrator to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the effective management of our buildings, grounds and facilities, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and welcoming for the people we support, our staff, volunteers and visitors.
As a charity, our buildings are central to the delivery of our services, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in helping to create environments where people can live, work and thrive. Working closely with the facilities team, contractors and colleagues across the organisation, you will provide administrative support to ensure maintenance schedules, compliance records, inspections and facilities-related processes are managed efficiently and accurately.
The successful candidate will have experience in administration, facilities support, property services or a similar role. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, contractors and visitors. A good understanding of health and safety requirements and compliance processes would be beneficial.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving and wants to make a positive difference through the role they play within Burton YMCA.
Whether you already have experience in facilities administration, property administration or a similar support role, or can demonstrate strong transferable administrative skills, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a conscientious and motivated individual to join our YMCA Burton, Night Support Team. As part of your role, you will work across the three housing projects, delivering a high quality concierge and night support service to YMCA Burton service users, ensuring everyone is safe and secure.
- Contracted hours – 40 hours (4 on/4 off)
- Salary – £25,862
- Place of work to be across sites
- Need to hold a full driving license
- Closing date of 31st July
