About the Role
As a Generic Worker, you will be an integral member of the Facilities Team, working closely with Facilities Housekeepers, Facilities Team Leaders, Facilities Catering staff, and, where appropriate, Heads of Departments.
You will be directed by the Facilities Team Leader to undertake a variety of duties that support the smooth and effective running of services across the Trust.

- A key part of the role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness through a planned and methodical approach, ensuring all designated areas are cleaned and maintained appropriately.
- The post holder will be directed by the Facilities Team Leader to carry out a range of duties for the needs of the service, following a planned and methodical approach in order to ensure all areas are included.
Training
- Participate in training as directed by the Facilities Team Leader. This would include training in cleaning techniques and mandatory training such as Fire Safety, Moving & Handing, COSHH, and Infection Control.
