An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Facilities Team working for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals based at the Northern General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital as a Facilities Supervisor.
There are positions from 27 hours to 37.5 hours available.
Provide daily operational support to the Zone Co-ordinators in the delivery and co-ordination of the ward-based cleaning, deep cleaning, rapid response and general cleaning services.
- To line manage domestic services staff, ensuring that the portfolio of services, ad-hoc tasks and projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively within the allocated budget.
- To work as part of the operational Domestic Services Team and be responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe, efficient and high-quality domestic service to all wards and departments across the Trust.
- With a key element of the role being to provide visible leadership at ward and department level working with and supporting the staff within responsibility area/zone.
- To ensure adherence with the Trust's PROUD values.

The Facilities Directorate provides support services to all our Patients, including, Patient and Staff Catering, Security Services, Portering and Transport, Laundry and Linen with Domestic Services being the largest service with some 1300 staff, who provide services across all the main hospital sites and various community sites.
