Based at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, this 12-month fixed term contract Facilities Supervisor role plays a key part in keeping the site safe, welcoming and operating to a high standard for colleagues, partners and visitors. Working on a 5 days over 7 pattern with regular evenings and weekends, you will help deliver excellent facilities support across a busy multi-use environment. This is an exciting opportunity that will include the delivery of Premier League, UEFA fixtures and concerts at the Etihad Stadium.

Our Facilities Management team helps keep the Etihad Stadium and wider site ready for the many different demands of each day and each season. From maintaining safe, clean and welcoming spaces to supporting matchday preparation, contractor coordination and guest standards, the team plays an important part in creating a professional environment that works for everyone who uses it.

The Role

This role sits at the heart of day-to-day site operations, helping to make sure facilities services are delivered to a high standard and that the building environment supports colleagues, partners and customers. You will help maintain the quality, safety and consistency of the site, bringing a practical and thoughtful approach to the work that keeps everything running smoothly.

Your focus will include daily checks and operational support across cleaning, health and safety, building maintenance, grounds, security and energy management. You will also help coordinate planning and day-to-day use of the site, support accommodation standards, contribute to audits and inspections, and work alongside others to make sure facilities meet the needs of a varied and busy environment.

You will work closely with colleagues, partners and contractors, helping to build positive relationships and support continuous improvement across the site. The role also involves supporting the wider Facilities Management team on meetings, events, infrastructure projects and matchday or safety-related activity when required, so flexibility, good judgement and clear communication are important throughout.

What You’ll Bring

  • ⚽ Experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role within a multi-faceted building or operational environment.
  • ⚽ Ability to supervise and support cleaning, security or other site service teams to maintain high standards.
  • ⚽ Clear and effective communication skills, with the confidence to influence colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
  • ⚽ Good computer literacy, with the ability to maintain records, complete administration and produce reports accurately.
  • ⚽ Ability to manage day-to-day operations, follow procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • ⚽ A good standard of education or relevant qualifications, with the flexibility to work a 5 days over 7 pattern including regular evenings and weekends.
