Summary
We're looking for an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills along with a love for supporting others. Working as part of a passionate team, you'll play an integral role to the property.
This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
What it's like to work here
You'll be based at our small, friendly office at Penrose Bunkhouse in Chyvarloe, supporting the National Trusts Lizard and Mid Cornwall Portfolio. Around ten colleagues are based in the office, with staff and volunteers regular joining us for meetings and collaborative working, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
As the Facilities and Support Services Coordinator, you’ll provide essential day-to-day coordination and support for the property office, helping to ensure our facilities, services and administrative arrangements run smoothly. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the portfolio, coordinating practical support, responding to day-to-day needs and helping create an effective working environment for staff and volunteers.
Penrose is a truly special place to work. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline, you’ll enjoy an inspiring setting while being part of a close-knit team that values kindness, collaboration and supporting one another. We take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is welcomed, respected and encouraged to bring their ideas and experience to the team.

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll provide a comprehensive administration service and assist in the wider Herefordshire team, ensuring the property is a wonderful place for all to volunteer and work. There is some cleaning involved, ensuring our back offices and staff toilets are also presented correctly, but you'll mainly be the go-to person for assistance, also supervising contractors on site.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
