Facilities Manager

Permanent

Leicester
Up to £38,400 per annum

We’re recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy site in Leicester.

This is a varied, hands-on Facilities Manager role combining facilities management, health and safety, team leadership, contractor management and customer service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

With responsibility across both people and facilities, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a site and likes a role where there’s plenty of variety.

As Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing and supporting a small facilities team, including training, 1:1s and performance reviews
  • Ensuring the site meets relevant health, safety and statutory compliance requirements
  • Completing and reviewing risk assessments, audits and health and safety procedures
  • Overseeing building maintenance and preventative maintenance programmes
  • Managing contractors, suppliers and facilities contracts
  • Monitoring service levels and ensuring work is completed to agreed standards

  • Acting as a point of contact for escalated issues
  • Working closely with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the site

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
