Job Description: Factory Fitter
Duties
Duties primarily comprise of working within a small team to complete the mechanical fit outs of Eliquo Hydrok’s bespoke products through to completion in preparation for dispatch, ensuring that all fitting activities are executed to meet the project requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner. Factory fitters will be expected to carry out any other tasks as directed by the Finishing Supervisor, Department Manager or OMT member in conjunction with the day to day running of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure the mechanical fit outs are completed to the appropriate levels of quality and to standards and manufacturers best practice.
- Responsible for providing the relevant Supervisor/Departmental Manager with the progress updates and raise concerns where necessary.
- Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed.
- Competent in understanding/reading engineering drawings.
- Consistently efficient, with high quality output.
- Be able to work on your own, or as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills and work under own initiative.
- Keep working area in a neat and tidy fashion.
- Clear and accurate completion of all company documentation.

Who we are looking for
- Work unsupervised at times.
- Work to tight deadlines.
- Be a good team player.
- Be a good communicator.
- Be willing to undergo internal or external training, as directed.
- Work in a safe and tidy manner.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CPCS Slinger Signaller.
- IPAF/PASMA.
- First Aid at Work.
- An industry applicable ONC, C&C or NVQ.
- Knowledge of the utilities/water industry.
