Factory Manager

Location: Hull Area
Salary: Up to £65,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, days

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Factory Manager to join a large manufacturing operation in the Hull area.

This is a senior operational role for a commercially aware, KPI-driven leader who can take ownership of site performance and deliver sustainable improvements across the operation. The successful candidate will be CI-focused and results-driven, with a proven ability to translate operational strategy into measurable business outcomes.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading operational performance across a large manufacturing site, ensuring the operation consistently delivers against key performance, productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency measures. A major part of the role will be driving a strong Continuous Improvement culture, challenging existing processes, and identifying opportunities to improve output, efficiency, and overall site performance. You will provide visible leadership across the operation, creating accountability within the management structure and ensuring teams are focused on delivering against agreed KPIs.

About You

We are looking for an established Factory Manager / Senior Operations Manager with experience leading a large-scale manufacturing operation. You should be able to demonstrate clear examples of delivery rather than simply responsibility. For example:

  • Improving OEE or production efficiency
  • Reducing waste and operational costs
  • Increasing output and productivity
  • Improving labor efficiency
  • Delivering successful Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Driving KPI performance and operational accountability
  • Leading and developing large operational teams
