MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Factory Manager. This is a permanent role based in Somerset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking full accountability for day-to-day factory operations, including production, engineering and site performance.
- Leading, developing and motivating a multi-disciplinary team to deliver against production, quality and safety targets.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and control costs.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety and quality standards across the site.
- Managing budgets, KPIs and reporting, and acting as the key point of contact for site performance.

What We're Looking For:


Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or Operations Manager within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing large teams.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and site KPIs.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety and health & safety legislation.
- Confident communicator with strong commercial and budgetary awareness.
