Prime Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturer based in Braintree, Essex. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join their production team on an ongoing temporary basis, with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their skills.

- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Removing finished products from machines and preparing them for the next stage of production.
- Supporting the smooth running of the production line and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Assisting skilled machine operators with manufacturing tasks.
- Learning to operate a variety of machinery through on-the-job training.
- Helping in other areas of the factory when required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area while following all health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude with a commitment to long-term work.
- Flexibility to support different areas of the factory as needed.
- Availability to start immediately.

Hours, Pay & Benefits
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 4:00pm (finish times may vary slightly depending on production requirements)
- £12.71 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing temporary assignment with the potential for long-term opportunities
- Supportive working environment with full training provided
