Contract: Permanent, part-time
Hours: 17.25 hours per week – Friday-Sunday 10am-4pm
Location: Queensway Industrial Estate, Dunlop Way, Scunthorpe, DN16 3RN
Holiday: 14 per year

Are you passionate about customer service, furniture, and social media? We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and creative individual to join our Factory Outlet team, helping customers find the perfect furniture while showcasing our products online.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Factory Outlet & Social Media Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience both in-store and online.
In The Outlet
- Welcome customers and establish their furniture needs
- Provide knowledgeable advice on products, availability, dimensions, care, and suitability
- Support customers throughout the purchasing journey in a professional and friendly manner
- Process sales, payments, refunds, and associated paperwork accurately
- Maintain attractive displays, correct pricing, and promotional materials
- Assist with stock checks and the preparation of sold items for collection or delivery
- Keep the outlet clean, organised, and safe
- Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally

On Social Media
- Create and publish engaging content showcasing products, promotions, and outlet activity
- Take product photographs and short videos for use across social media channels
- Monitor comments, reviews, and messages, responding professionally and promptly
- Support the growth of our online presence through creative content and customer engagement
- Share ideas and feedback to improve customer experience and increase sales opportunities
This Role Is Ideal For You If You
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Enjoys building relationships with customers
- Is confident using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- Has a creative eye for photography, video content, and marketing
- Is organised, motivated, and able to work independently
- Has strong attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a varied role that combines retail and digital engagement
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys being part of a team
