We’re looking for an experienced Factory & Production Manager to lead our kitchen manufacturing operation in Cumbernauld.
IMPORTANT – ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Previous experience within the kitchen manufacturing industry is essential for this position. Applicants without relevant kitchen manufacturing experience will not be considered.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience managing a kitchen manufacturing/production environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and CNC-led kitchen production
- Experience optimising CNC processes, nesting, material yield and machine utilisation
- Strong understanding of kitchen cabinet manufacturing, components and production processes
- Strong production planning and scheduling experience
- Ability to identify bottlenecks and improve factory throughput and efficiency
- Experience managing, motivating and developing production teams
- Strong understanding of quality control and manufacturing standards
- Ability to monitor and reduce material waste and production downtime
- Experience implementing and managing factory KPIs
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day factory operations
- Understanding of machinery maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
