Faculty Marketing Officer

Join our dynamic team as a Faculty Marketing Officer and play a pivotal role in crafting compelling marketing plans that attract students to our Law & Business School, Creative Industries, Education and Social Sciences departments, that seamlessly align with university-wide strategies. You'll collaborate with colleagues across faculties, marketing, and recruitment to develop targeted campaigns, curate engaging content, and ensure our online presence shines.

About The Team

Our Marketing team, part of our External Engagement Directorate is a diverse and supportive group of individuals who are passionate about promoting our university and attracting new potential students to university. The Marketing Team is led by our Director and Deputy Director of Brand and Marketing, supported by Marketing Managers, you will be reporting directly to the Campaigns and Digital Marketing Manager. You will work alongside and have the support of the Creative Service Manager, Designers, Copy Writers. You will have access to the support of the wider directorates team of Web Developers, Social and PR professionals, Alumni and development and Events teams all working together to support brand development and student recruitment.

About The Role

You will be the bridge between marketing and your faculty clients.

  • You will create captivating briefs, craft clear content for promotional materials and assets.
  • You will be a master the digital domain, collaborating with the Digital Manager and web team to optimise faculty sections on the university website and leverage external online channels to amplify program visibility.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues across various departments to elevate the faculty's profile and contribute to the university's overall reputation.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record of success in marketing and marketing campaigns
  • Expertise in project management and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Extensive experience working with design and creative teams to produce high-quality marketing materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Instilling confidence in faculty colleagues who will be your key client.
  • Your planning and organisational skills will be the key to your success in the role.
  • You will have a data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Passionate about higher education: Share our commitment to making education accessible and enriching lives.
  • You will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual who approaches their work in a positive, innovative and professional manner
