As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Fall Arrest / Fall Restraint Mate to join our team, supporting a variety of installation, inspection, maintenance and repair projects nationwide.
Additional Information
- Full-time position
- Contracted working hours: 49 hours per week
- Based within our existing operational teams in Sheffield and Nottingham, therefore applicants living within these areas are preferred
- Company van provided to the team
- Nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays are required

About the Role
Reporting into the Site Foreman and Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, testing, inspection and maintenance of fall protection systems and associated access solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation of fall arrest and fall restraint lifeline systems.
- Carrying out testing, inspections and repairs of existing safety systems.
- Supporting the installation and inspection of:
- Safety eyebolts and anchors
- Fixed access ladders
- Roof edge protection systems
- Roof gantries
- Walkways and access systems
- Working safely at height in line with industry standards and company procedures.
- Building positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and site teams.
- Travelling to sites across the UK and lodging away when required
What You'll Bring
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good levels of physical fitness and confidence working at height
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Previous experience installing fall arrest and fall restraint systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- CSCS Card or willingness to obtain one
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification would be advantageous
