About Falltec
Falltec Ltd is a specialist fall protection company providing inspection, testing, certification and installation services across the UK.
We work with commercial property managers, construction companies and industrial clients to ensure their working-at-height safety systems remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and competent Fall Protection Engineer to support our operations across London and the surrounding areas.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer who can work independently, maintain high standards and represent Falltec professionally on-site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out periodic inspections and testing of fall protection systems.
- Inspecting horizontal safety lines, abseil anchors, eyebolts, fixed ladders, guardrails and associated equipment.
- Identifying defects, non-compliances and potential safety risks.
- Producing accurate inspection reports and photographic documentation.
- Undertaking installation, maintenance and remedial works where required.
- Working in accordance with relevant British Standards and work-at-height regulations.
- Communicating effectively with clients and site management teams.

Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience within the fall protection or working-at-height industry.
- Good understanding of fall protection systems and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, including BS 7883 and BS EN 795.
- Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and professional reporting skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout London and surrounding areas.

Desirable:
- Relevant NVQ or industry-recognised fall protection qualifications.
- IPAF, PASMA or other relevant access qualifications.
- Experience with installation and remedial works.
- Familiarity with BS 8610 and BS 13700. BS7883:2019
- Experience producing inspection reports and technical documentation.
