Job Description: Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM)

Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking a qualified Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM) to support the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) in Alconbury, UK. The FATM serves as a clinical subject matter expert and member of the multidisciplinary FAP team, providing clinical assessment, treatment, case management, prevention support, and intervention services to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, child maltreatment, and related family concerns.

The FATM will provide professional clinical services while supporting prevention initiatives, multidisciplinary case coordination, community collaboration, and compliance with applicable FAP and Medical Treatment Facility standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessment, treatment, and case management services to individuals, couples, families, and groups involved in domestic abuse and child maltreatment cases.
  • Conduct psychosocial, safety, risk, needs, and other clinical assessments appropriate to client circumstances.
  • Develop and implement individualized safety and treatment plans and monitor client progress.
  • Provide psychotherapy, clinical casework, psychoeducational interventions, crisis intervention, counseling, and related clinical services.
  • Manage assigned cases through assessment, care coordination, advocacy, monitoring, treatment planning, and follow-up.
  • Participate in Clinical Case Staffing, Family Advocacy Committee meetings, peer review, and other multidisciplinary program activities.
  • Provide prevention services, educational presentations, counseling, briefings, advocacy, and community outreach.
  • Support the New Parent Support Program (NPSP), including voluntary home-based clinical intervention for families at risk of maltreatment.
  • Provide Family Advocacy Strength-Based Therapy (FAST) services to individuals, couples, families, and groups at risk of maltreatment.
  • Conduct required home visits involving families with children under one year of age and provide additional travel in support of NPSP and prevention services.
  • Collaborate with FAP personnel, community organizations, leadership, and other professional agencies to support family violence prevention and intervention.
  • Maintain professional standards of care, documentation, confidentiality, and program compliance.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements

Clearance

  • Must be eligible for and maintain required privileging within the Military Treatment Facility
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination in accordance with applicable contract and government requirements

Education, Licensure, and Certifications

  • Must be a U.S.-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • LCSW: Minimum master's degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited school
  • LMFT: Minimum master's degree from a Marriage and Family Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), or a qualifying allied mental health degree combined with an equivalent Marriage and Family Therapy program of study
  • Must maintain a current, unrestricted license permitting independent clinical practice in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Must have practiced within the applicable specialty within the previous two years for privileging purposes
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Required Experience

  • Minimum of two years of full-time post-master's experience within the last three years in professional clinical counseling programs serving men, women, and children who are abusive or abused
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating or co-leading group therapy
  • Experience working with children, families, and groups in clinical or community settings
  • Experience working with professionals and community agencies providing counseling, intervention, and support services

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to conduct home visits and travel within the assigned area as required
  • Ability to work in office, clinical, community, and home-based environments

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a professional clinical and administrative environment and may include client homes, community locations, and other approved locations. The position may involve interaction with individuals and families experiencing crisis, domestic abuse, child maltreatment, or other sensitive circumstances
