Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Family Court Advisor team, based in Canterbury.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Assess and analyse court applications involving child protection and welfare concerns.
- Complete high-quality assessments and case analysis for children and families.
- Undertake direct work with children to ensure their voice is heard throughout proceedings.
- Provide advice and recommendations to courts and Local Authorities regarding safeguarding matters.
- Prepare detailed reports and present oral evidence in court.
- Advocate for the best interests of children within the family justice system.
- Work collaboratively with families, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
- Negotiate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting statutory and court deadlines.
- Maintain accurate case records and utilise IT systems effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in children's social work and safeguarding.
- Strong court work experience.
- Proven ability to complete high-quality assessments and case analysis.
- Experience providing oral evidence in court.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and partnership-working abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
- Competent IT and organisational skills.
