Family Court Advisor - Brighton | £36.50 Umbrella (£26.81 PAYE) | 3-Month Contract

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Court Advisor to join a dedicated team in Brighton on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified social work professional with experience in family court proceedings and safeguarding children. You will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments, preparing court reports, and making recommendations that place the welfare of children at the centre of decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed assessments and analysis for court proceedings.
  • Prepare clear and evidence-based reports for the Family Court.
  • Work directly with children and families to understand their needs and circumstances.
  • Liaise with local authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
  • Manage a caseload effectively while meeting statutory deadlines.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safeguarding legislation and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within children and families services.
  • Previous experience in court work, safeguarding, and risk assessment.
  • Strong report writing and analytical skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

  • Rate: £36.50 per hour Umbrella / £26.81 per hour PAYE
  • Contract: Initial 3 months, ongoing potential
