Help keep vital family services running smoothly and create a welcoming space for local families.

As a Family Hub Business Support Officer, you’ll provide the administrative and operational support that helps our Family Hub services run effectively. Your work will help ensure families receive the support they need in a welcoming and well-organised environment.

Working Style:

You’ll be based in the Borough 5 days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you’re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents’ lives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide essential administrative support to managers and practitioners within the Family Hub and Early Help services.
  • Welcome families and professionals into the Hub, acting as a professional first point of contact and ensuring visitors feel supported and comfortable.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day organisation of the Hub, including managing room bookings, maintaining service information, and helping ensure the space remains organised, accessible, and welcoming.
  • Support the service through accurate data management, including processing referrals, maintaining databases, and ensuring records are kept up to date to support service monitoring, reporting, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Assist with the operational running of the Hub, helping coordinate IT needs, liaising with contractors for building maintenance, and supporting the organisation of meetings and events.

By resolving administrative issues quickly and keeping systems running efficiently, you’ll help ensure the service remains responsive to the needs of families across the borough.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
