About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded specialist family law firm in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or an individual looking to begin their legal career within family law. You will work closely with experienced solicitors and have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of family law matters.
The successful candidate will be organised, professional and genuinely interested in developing a career within family law. Previous paralegal or legal experience is desirable but not essential, and applications from strong law graduates are welcomed.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting solicitors with a varied caseload of family law matters
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, correspondence and court documentation
- Conducting legal research and providing support on case preparation
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, barristers and other relevant parties
- Managing case files and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
- Attending meetings and taking accurate notes where required
- Assisting with the preparation of bundles and other court-related documents
- Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the wider team
- Maintaining high levels of client care and confidentiality

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A law graduate or has a relevant legal qualification
- Ideally has an interest in pursuing a career in family law
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Professional, approachable and empathetic
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Proactive and keen to learn and develop
- Previous legal experience is beneficial but graduates with a strong academic background will be considered
