Family Law Paralegal

Location: East London
Working Pattern: Permanent, hybrid following successful completion of probation
Salary: Circa £28,000

We are currently working with a well-established legal practice seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its family department. The successful candidate will support the Partner and wider team across a varied caseload, with a particular focus on family and child law matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Partner and family solicitors with the management of their caseloads.
  • Support on a range of child law and separation matters.
  • Prepare court bundles and assist with wider case preparation.
  • Liaise with clients, Courts, Counsel, and other fee earners throughout matters.
  • Manage Legal Help forms and provide general support to the department.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Family Law Paralegal.
  • A genuine interest in family and, in particular, child law matters.
  • Previous Legal Aid experience is preferable.
  • Law degree at 2:1 or above.
  • Keen to develop their existing skills and progress within family law.

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Family Law Paralegal looking to join an established team and further develop their experience across child and family matters, with hybrid working available following probation.
