Johnson Legal are a prominent, boutique law firm based in the West End of Edinburgh. Our Rutland Square office focuses exclusively on Family Law, headed by Beverley Johnson.

Role Description

We have an exciting full-time, permanent role for a solicitor with a strong background and reputation in Family Law to join our team. We would expect that applicants would have a minimum of two years’ post qualifying experience, exclusively or primarily in Family Law. We would also welcome applications from more experienced applicants who are able to bring with them an existing caseload to join as a Senior Associate.

Team Dynamics

Our Family Law team work closely together to support each other and our clients. Our office dynamic is incredibly important to us. The right candidate will need to be self-sufficient, commercially aware, and a team player. In return, you will have high quality and rewarding work in the sheriff courts and Court of Session, for privately paying clients. We have embraced hybrid working but generally the focus is office based with one or two days a week working from home.
