Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Family Law Solicitor role based primarily in Blackburn, Lancashire, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Family Law Solicitor will manage a caseload of family matters, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic abuse issues, providing clear, empathetic advice and representation.

The role involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality service, maintaining accurate case records, and staying up to date with relevant legislation and procedures. The solicitor will also contribute to business development activities, such as networking and attending community events, in line with the firm’s values and growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with qualification as a Solicitor (or equivalent) and current eligibility to practice in the jurisdiction.
- Demonstrable expertise in Family Law, including case management, advocacy, and drafting documentation for a range of family-related matters.
- Exposure to or understanding of related practice areas such as Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate to support holistic client service where required.
- Awareness of Labor and Employment Law issues that may intersect with family matters, such as financial arrangements and workplace considerations.
- Excellent client care skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and sensitively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a hybrid working environment.
- Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
