Legal Administrator – Family Law | Leading UK Law Firm
Blue Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Legal Administrator to join its team, primarily supporting the Family practice.
This is a great opportunity for someone with some existing legal experience who is looking to develop their career within a highly regarded law firm, working closely with Partners, Fee Earners and Legal PAs.
The role:
- Support the opening and closing of client matters, including conflict checks, due diligence and client care documentation
- Maintain accurate client and matter records across the firm’s systems
- Assist with document administration, e-filing, data rooms and matter management
- Provide billing and finance support, including draft invoices, expenses, payments, disbursements and WIP administration
- Manage administrative requests through team inboxes, prioritising work against deadlines
- Support printing, scanning, couriers, deeds management, document retrieval and general administration
- Work closely with Legal PAs and Fee Earners to ensure matters are supported efficiently throughout their lifecycle

About you:

- Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working within the legal sector, with a good understanding of how a law firm operates and the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and client service.
- Previous experience supporting a Family Law team would be a real advantage, although candidates from other legal practice areas with strong administrative experience are also encouraged to apply.
