Role Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Rhondda Cynon Taf's Access & Inclusion Service for an experienced and motivated professional to support the delivery of high-quality statutory services for children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Working closely with the Complex Case and Panel Manager, you will support specialist panel processes, Education Tribunal for Wales proceedings, service development and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 and the ALN Code for Wales. The role also involves working with families, schools and partner agencies to resolve concerns, provide advice and guidance, and support effective decision-making.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, experience of statutory education processes, and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
About the Role
This post is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027 in the first instance, with the potential for extension subject to service requirements and funding.
