Our Family Office team brings together expertise from Tax, Consulting and Audit to support family offices and ultra-high-net-worth families with complex personal, operational and commercial needs. We are looking for an experienced relationship and project management professional to help turn a substantial opportunity pipeline into sustainable, cross-service growth.

This is a practical, delivery-focused role at the centre of our Family Office growth strategy. You will build trusted intermediary relationships, coordinate opportunities from first conversation to engagement and connect clients with the right expertise across RSM.

You’ll make an impact by

Driving pipeline progression

  • Work with Family Office partners and directors to prioritise prospects, relationships and opportunities across a pipeline of around 200 ultra-wealthy families and family offices.
  • Coordinate follow-ups, scoping, proposals and specialist input from initial identification through to engagement.
  • Maintain momentum and accurate pipeline information, including ownership, next steps, fee potential and matters requiring senior input.
  • Help manage and develop the Family Office profiling process so priority opportunities and proposals are actively progressed.

Building valuable intermediary relationships

  • Develop relationships with private banks, wealth managers, multi-family offices, lawyers, trustees and other advisers who support family offices and ultra-wealthy families.
  • Build connections with relevant specialist providers, including property, insurance, recruitment, security and luxury asset advisers.
  • Raise awareness of RSM’s cross-service Family Office offering, identify useful introductions and represent the team in focused market activity.
  • Support the effective recording and management of referral activity and relationship information in Dynamics.

Connecting expertise across RSM

  • Build strong internal relationships with Tax and Consulting partners, directors and specialists, with Audit involvement where appropriate.
  • Translate family objectives into clear internal briefs and help colleagues understand the client context and sensitivities.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary discussions, proposals and workstreams across relevant service lines.
  • Help develop repeatable propositions, insight and case studies for common family office needs.

Bringing structure and ownership

  • Attend the monthly Family Office senior leadership meeting and ensure agreed actions are progressed.
  • Own practical processes for activity, actions, dates, follow-up and reliable business reporting.
  • Contribute to focused market activity, insight articles, website content and LinkedIn activity where relevant.

What success looks like

Success will be measured through your contribution to pipeline progression, the value created through external relationships and effective delivery across RSM.

Expectations include

  • Supporting the Family Office team’s ambition to secure £3 million of cross-service line wins in FY27 by prioritising opportunities, developing account plans and coordinating the right service line input.
  • Contributing to originated work of approximately £250,000 in year one and £400,000 in year two, alongside assisted wins of approximately £600,000 in year one and £800,000 in year two.
  • Joining and supporting most of the team’s 30 to 50 potential new client meetings each year, with responsive follow-up, scoping and proposal coordination through to the client’s decision.
  • Helping the team prioritise intermediary relationships, attending meetings where appropriate and creating a joined-up RSM connection across the UK firm and internationally.
  • Building wider engagement across Tax and Consulting by bringing specialists into suitable opportunities and sharing relevant case studies and market insight.
