An opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join a domestic abuse team at a well-established law practice supporting clients through sensitive and challenging legal matters.

As a Family Paralegal, you will be managing and supporting a caseload of domestic abuse matters while providing professional and sensitive assistance to vulnerable clients.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid role offering salary up to GBP 35,000 and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Managing cases involving Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
  • Assisting with Legal Aid applications and CCMS.
  • Preparing statements, chronologies, and court documentation.
  • Communicating with courts, police, support agencies, and interpreters.
  • Supporting vulnerable clients throughout their cases.
  • Working alongside solicitors within the wider Family Law team.
  • Assisting with domestic abuse matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working within family Law.
  • Background with Legal Aid and CCMS.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic abuse matters.
  • Ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and compassion.
  • Experience managing domestic abuse cases from initial instruction through to conclusion would be beneficial.
