KBG Chambers is a thriving multi-disciplinary set of over 50 barristers operating out of Plymouth and Truro. Our Family Team of barristers is one of the largest and busiest on circuit comprising of over 30 members.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our very experienced Family Clerking Team as a Family Practice Manager. The successful applicant will work 5 days a week from our Plymouth Chambers at the Royal William Yard.

Responsibilities

The job will primarily involve diary management of our members of Chambers, ensuring fair allocation of work, taking new bookings, recording incoming briefs and correspondence, checking court lists, making listing requests with the court and dealing with email and telephone enquiries. You will need to be a confident person who is happy meeting and greeting barristers, other clerks and customers every day in a very busy office environment.
