If you are an experienced children's social care manager or senior practitioner looking for a role where you can lead high quality practice while developing your pathway into senior leadership, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Family Help Service Team at Leicester City Council.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead a small, established team of Social Workers and Social Worker Assistants within our Family Help Service.

You will be
- A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- An experienced practitioner with substantial post qualifying experience in statutory children's social care
- Experienced in managing, supervising and developing staff
- Confident in leading complex decision making and managing risk
- Skilled in building strong multi agency partnerships
- Committed to restorative and relationship based practice
You will bring resilience, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and families.
