Senior Associate (6+ PQE) | Family – Divorce and Finance Team
Are you an ambitious Family Lawyer ready to take the next step in your career with a market-leading team?
RWK Goodman’s award-winning Family team is looking for a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its highly successful International Divorce and Finance Team. You’ll work alongside market-leading professionals, including Natalie Lemonides, Head of International Divorce & Finance, who was recently recognised by Chambers as “an exceptional leader in her field” for her work on high-value and complex divorce matters.
The Role
You will join the firm’s dedicated Private Finance Team, where the work focuses on financial remedy matters arising from divorce, private children-related issues, drafting and advising on nuptial agreements in addition to advising on provision for unmarried couples and property disputes following the breakdown of relationships.
In this role, you will advise on:
- High net worth and ultra-high net worth divorce cases
- Complex financial remedy proceedings
- International and cross-border family disputes
- Jurisdictional disputes and international family law matters
- Private children issues arising within financial proceedings
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre and post nuptial agreements
You will also play an important part in shaping the team’s continued success by:
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- Supporting the continued growth of the team
- Business development
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Contributing to the team's long-term success strategy

Our Family team is one of the largest composite family law teams in the UK, with a head count exceeding 70 operating across multiple offices.
The team is structured across dedicated specialist groups: Private Divorce and Finance, Private Children and Care. This opportunity sits within the Private Divorce and Finance team.

- 6+ PQE in family law with
- Experienced in complex financial remedy work
- Comfortable handling high-value cases
- Interested in international family law matters
- Passionate about mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- Keen to be involved in business development
- Commercial, collaborative and client-focused

Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE
- Solid business plan for growth proposition within the department/sector (desirable).
- Substantial previous experience within area of law (essential).
- Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service (essential).
- Proven ability to win new business through successful BD activity (essential).
- Ability to manage a small team (desirable).
