Family Senior Associate (5+ PQE) | Legal 500 & Chambers-Ranked Firm

Location: Manchester
Salary: Starting salary £65k+

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join one of the region's most highly regarded Family Law teams. Working within a Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners-recognised practice, you will advise on a broad range of high-quality private family matters, acting for a diverse client base alongside recognised specialists in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial remedy proceedings, children matters and cohabitation disputes, working on high-quality instructions.
  • Provide clear, commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice, delivering outstanding outcomes and an exceptional client experience.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships through empathetic, responsive and professional legal support.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues across the Family team and wider firm on complex matters and cross-referrals.
  • Support the continued growth of the department through networking, relationship building and business development initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest professional standards while contributing to the firm's reputation for technical excellence and client service.

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Family Law.
  • Strong technical expertise across private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies and children work.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently while delivering exceptional client care.
