About the Role
We are partnering with a prominent West Midlands law firm with deep roots in the region and a strong reputation for the quality of its work and client relationships.
Recognised in the Legal 500, the firm has built a strong presence across the West Midlands and is known for providing high-quality legal advice alongside a friendly, approachable and supportive working environment.
The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Practising Rights, ideally with around 3–4 years' PQE, to join its established Family team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience within a supportive team, work alongside experienced practitioners and handle a high-quality caseload. The role offers genuine scope to develop your expertise, take ownership of your own matters and build strong, long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters, including work for clients with more complex financial circumstances and high-net-worth individuals.
Your experience is likely to include a combination of:
- Divorce and financial matters
- Private children work
- Cohabitation and relationship agreements
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements and wider wealth protection
- Applications relating to occupation and protective orders
- Specific issue and prohibited steps applications
- Relocation matters
- Advice relating to grandparents and wider family arrangements
- Other privately funded family work
You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters from start to finish, while working closely with senior members of the team on more complex cases.

Role Details
The role is full-time and permanent, with the opportunity to be based from one of the firm's West Midlands offices.
