Family Solicitor (NQ - 3 PQE) – Newbury – Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A leading boutique family law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its growing team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior family solicitor to join a specialist practice, advising on high-quality privately funded family matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm in Newbury has built an outstanding reputation for its client-focused approach and expertise in complex family law matters.
A key attraction of this opportunity is the level of mentoring and support available. You will work closely with highly respected Partners who have built their careers at leading Legal 500-ranked firms, gaining first-hand exposure to high-net-worth clients, complex financial remedy cases and strategic family law advice. The role offers an outstanding platform for a junior solicitor looking to accelerate their development within a specialist family practice, whilst also beginning to build their own professional profile and client base. The Role:
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters with appropriate supervision
- Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
- Supporting senior solicitors on complex and high-value cases
- Drafting legal documents, court applications and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, counsel and third parties
- Attending hearings and client meetings
- Building strong client relationships through exceptional client care
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Working collaboratively within a specialist family law team
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor from NQ - 3 PQE
- Experience of family law gained during training or post-qualification
- Exposure to financial remedy work would be advantageous
- Strong academic background and technical ability
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Commercial and empathetic approach
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ambitious and motivated to develop a career in specialist family law
