Legal Aid Family Solicitor (Children Panel/Family Panel or Resolution Accredited) - 3+ PQE min | £46,000 - £62,000 DOE | East London | Hybrid Working
A well-established and highly respected East London law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Aid Family Solicitor to join its thriving Family Department. With a strong reputation for publicly funded family work and longstanding ties to the local community, the firm continues to attract a steady stream of high-quality instructions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to join a supportive and collaborative team with genuine long-term career prospects.
The firm is particularly keen to hear from solicitors with strong Legal Aid experience who also have experience handling private family matters, as the firm is looking to expand and further develop this area of its practice.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of family matters, including:
- Public law children matters
- Care proceedings
- Private children matters
- Acting primarily for parents
- Legal Aid funded work

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE
- Resolution Accredited Specialist, Family Panel Member or Children Panel Accredited Solicitor
- Strong background in Legal Aid family law
- Experience handling care proceedings and children matters
- Keen to undertake and develop private family work
- Strong advocacy and client care skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
