Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our City of London office.

The Role

This is a full-time, office-based position offering the opportunity to work on a broad range of privately funded family law matters for a predominantly mid-to-high net worth client base.

You will manage your own caseload and advise clients on matters including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Private children matters
  • Cohabitation and relationship disputes
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • General family law advisory work

The role will involve advising and representing clients, drafting and reviewing legal documentation, conducting legal research, attending hearings and mediations, liaising with counsel and the courts, and progressing matters efficiently from instruction through to conclusion.

You will work closely with our wider Private Client and Dispute Resolution teams, as well as colleagues across the Penn Group, ensuring clients receive a seamless and joined-up professional service.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • A qualified Family Solicitor with a current practising certificate and a minimum of 5 years' PQE
  • Experienced in managing a full caseload independently
  • Technically strong across a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies and private children work
  • Confident advising privately funded clients
  • Commercially aware and solutions-focused
  • Committed to delivering outstanding client service
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Able to build trust and rapport with clients during sensitive and often challenging circumstances
