Family Solicitor / CILEX (2-5 PQE) - Reading - Up to 70k + Benefits + Bonus

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its highly regarded Family team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Lawyer to join a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked practice, advising on high-quality privately funded matters within a supportive and progressive environment.

Joining a growing and successful team, you will inherit an existing caseload whilst also having the opportunity to further develop your own practice. The team is recognised for advising high-net-worth individuals and families on a broad range of complex family law matters, offering excellent quality work and genuine career progression opportunities.

This role would suit an ambitious Family Lawyer who enjoys building strong client relationships and is keen to play an active role in business development. You will work alongside experienced specialists within a collaborative team, whilst benefiting from a modern and flexible approach to family law.

The Role:

  • Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters
  • Advising on divorce and separation
  • Handling financial remedy matters
  • Advising on private children matters
  • Preparing and advising on pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development and networking initiatives
  • Assisting with the continued growth of the Family department
  • Supporting colleagues on complex and high-value matters
  • Supervising junior members of the team where appropriate

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 2-5 years' PQE
  • Strong experience in privately funded family law
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Strong technical knowledge across core family law disciplines
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
  • Resolution membership would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Ambitious and motivated to develop within a highly regarded team
