Family Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer
Gloucestershire | Hybrid Working Available
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its successful and friendly Family team. This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer seeking a supportive environment, high-quality work, and genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private family matters, advising clients from initial consultation through to resolution. The work will focus primarily on:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters
- Child arrangements and Section 8 applications
- Separation and cohabitation agreements
- Nuptial agreements
- Preparing applications, legal documentation, and correspondence
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Managing matters efficiently while maintaining excellent client care and compliance
- Supporting business development and the continued growth of the Family team

The Ideal Candidate
The firm is looking for a committed and experienced family lawyer with a strong track record of handling good-quality private family work.
You will ideally have:
- Experience managing a broad family law caseload
- Strong technical and advisory skills
- Experience with Section 8 applications
- The ability to manage your own caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine enthusiasm for Family Law
- An interest in developing your profile and generating new work within the Cotswolds
