An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join a well-established local law firm with a strong reputation across County Durham.
This is an ideal opportunity for a solicitor looking to become part of a close-knit team where you'll be valued for your contribution and enjoy genuine responsibility from day one. You'll manage your own caseload of private family law matters, working closely with clients and colleagues in a supportive environment that places exceptional client care at the heart of everything it does.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, providing practical, sensitive, and tailored advice to clients through what are often challenging and life-changing situations.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Advising clients on all aspects of private family law.
- Managing divorce and separation matters.
- Advising on financial remedy proceedings.
- Handling private children matters, including child arrangements.
- Negotiating settlements and preparing legal documentation.
- Delivering outstanding client care while building strong and lasting client relationships.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.

The Candidate

- A minimum of 2 years PQE in private family law.
- Experience managing a caseload independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
