Family Solicitor (2+ PQE)
Our client is seeking a talented and driven Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their highly regarded team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who shares a genuine commitment to the principles of Resolution, embraces Non-Court Dispute Resolution (NCDR), and is equally confident managing matters that require robust litigation.
The successful candidate will advise clients across a broad range of family law matters, combining technical excellence with a compassionate, client-focused approach. They will be expected to champion constructive solutions wherever possible, while possessing the experience and confidence to progress cases through the court process when necessary.
The role will involve:
- Managing a varied caseload of private family matters.
- Advising clients on all available dispute resolution options, including mediation, arbitration, collaborative law, and other NCDR processes.
- Promoting and achieving negotiated settlements where appropriate.
- Preparing and progressing court applications and contested proceedings.
- Conducting advocacy where experience permits and liaising with counsel when required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional client care.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the department.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in family law.
- A strong commitment to the principles and ethos of Resolution.
- Experience advising clients on and engaging with Non-Court Dispute Resolution methods.
- Solid litigation experience and confidence managing contested cases through the court process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Commercial awareness coupled with a sensitive and pragmatic approach to client care.
- The ability to balance empathy with strong legal and strategic advice.
