WE’RE HIRING | FAMILY LAW SOLICITOR – 1–3 YEARS PQE
A family law career that works differently.
📍 Chippenham / Hybrid
💰 £45,000–£55,000 FTE, pro-rata depending on agreed hours and experience
🌙 Evenings & Weekends
🎯 Bonus Scheme | 28 Days’ Holiday FTE, pro-rata
We’re looking for a Family Law Solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE to join our growing team — but this isn't a traditional Monday-to-Friday solicitor role.
This position is specifically designed around evening and weekend working.
We know there are talented solicitors who would love to continue or return to their legal careers but, for all sorts of reasons, traditional office hours simply don't work for them.
Perhaps you've taken time away from practice. Perhaps you have young children or other commitments during the working week. Or perhaps an evening and weekend working pattern simply suits your life better.
At the same time, many of our clients would love the flexibility of being able to speak to their solicitor outside traditional working hours.
So we're bringing the two together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
