About The Role
A Family Solicitor with at least two years’ post-qualification experience is sought by an established Liverpool firm. This permanent position offers a salary between £35,000 and £50,000, dependent on experience. You will manage a diverse caseload covering divorce, financial remedy, private and public children proceedings, plus domestic abuse cases, guiding clients from initial instruction to resolution. - Manage your own caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Handle a broad range of matters including divorce, financial remedy, public and private children cases, and domestic abuse matters.
- Advise both legally aided and privately funded clients, with legal aid experience being essential.
- Provide clear, practical legal advice and exceptional client care throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence and court applications.
- Attend court hearings where appropriate to assist Counsel, with the opportunity to undertake your own advocacy.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legal aid and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.
Suitable for qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced Family Law Paralegals with a minimum of 2 years' family law experience.
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legislation is essential.
- Excellent communication, organisational and case management skills required.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
