The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor with 1–2 years' PQE to join a highly regarded Legal 500 recognised law firm in its Newbury office. The firm has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and is known for its strong client relationships, professional standards, and commitment to developing its people. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior Family Solicitor to join an established team, gain exposure to a broad range of work, and continue developing their career within a respected Legal 500 practice.

The Role

You will work alongside experienced Family lawyers, assisting and advising clients across a varied caseload, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy matters
  • Private children matters
  • Child arrangements and disputes
  • Cohabitation matters
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse matters
  • Relationship breakdown
  • General private family work

You will have the opportunity to develop your own caseload while benefiting from the support and expertise of senior members of the team.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Family Solicitor with 1–2 years' PQE
  • Have gained experience within a Family law team
  • Have a sound understanding of family law and procedure
  • Be confident communicating with clients and other professionals
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Have a strong client-focused approach
  • Be ambitious and keen to progress within a leading regional practice
