We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor (minimum 3 years PQE) to join our CLIENT on either a full-time permanent basis.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of private and publicly funded family matters, including complex and sensitive cases. The role requires strong advocacy, excellent client care skills, and the ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private and Legal Aid family matters from instruction to conclusion.
- Advising Clients On:
- Divorce and financial remedy proceedings
- Children Act matters (Private & Public Law)
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications (Non-Molestation & Occupation Orders)
- Care proceedings
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Conducting advocacy where appropriate.
- Preparing court documents, witness statements and bundles.
- Managing Legal Aid applications and compliance requirements.
- Maintaining accurate case records using the firm's case management system.
- Meeting billing and performance targets.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA standards and Legal Aid Agency requirements.
- Contributing to department development and mentoring junior staff where required.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Minimum 3 Years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) In Family Law.
- Experience handling both privately funded and Legal Aid matters (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of Family Procedure Rules.
- Experience in working with high net worth cases.
- Experience in advocacy and court attendance.
- Excellent drafting and case management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.

Desirable
- Children Panel Accreditation (preferred But Not Essential).
- Experience supervising junior fee earners or trainees.
- Proven track record of achieving fee income targets.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary
Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
