Private Family Solicitor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Family Solicitor to join a growing legal group at an important stage of its development.
The Family department is continuing to grow, and the successful lawyer will have the opportunity to play a genuine part in that growth, develop their own area of expertise and have a voice in how the department evolves.
You’ll join a collaborative and ambitious Family team handling a broad range of private family matters, including:
- Divorce
- Private children matters
- Financial matters
- Cohabitation agreements
- Pre-nuptial agreements
- Wider private family work
There is real scope to develop your own caseload and build your profile within the local market, with the firm keen to support someone who wants to establish their own client relationships and develop a strong reputation in the area.
Business development and networking are encouraged, so this would suit someone who enjoys being visible in the market and wants the opportunity to build their own name and client base.

- Has experience across a broad range of private family work
- Is confident managing their own caseload

- Has an interest in BD and networking
- Is ambitious and keen to progress as the department grows
- Wants more influence and autonomy in their next role

The package
- Salary: £55,000–£70,000
- Hybrid working
- 25 days' annual leave
- Your own dedicated assistant
- Support from wider consultants where required
- Clear scope for progression as the department develops

- Two firm-wide team days each year
