Family Solicitor (NQ – 3 PQE)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £40,000 – £58,000 + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working

Are you a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Family Solicitor with up to 3 years’ post-qualified experience looking to join a highly regarded Family team?

A leading Legal 500, multi-office law firm is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor to join its established and successful department. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable and experienced national team, handling high-quality privately funded family matters.

You will join a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop your expertise, build your career and work on a varied caseload of complex family matters.

The Role

Working as part of a well-established Family team, you will advise on a range of privately funded matters, including:

  • High-value divorce and financial matters
  • Finance cases involving complex assets
  • Children matters
  • Cohabitation and TOLATA cases
  • Cohabitation agreements
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements

You will work closely with experienced solicitors and have the opportunity to gain exposure to high-quality work while developing your own client relationships.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • NQ – 3 PQE experience within Family Law
  • Experience handling privately funded family matters
  • A genuine interest in developing within a highly regarded Family team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues across all levels of the firm
