Family Solicitor- Children Law, 3+ PQE, circa £45,000 - £60,000 DOE London
Leading nationally recognised Family Department offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children Law Solicitor to develop their career within a highly regarded team.

The Role:
The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload of public and private children matters, as well as domestic abuse work, acting for both legally aided and privately funded clients.
- Undertake advocacy on your own cases and provide advocacy support for colleagues where required
- Keep up to date with legal developments, particularly within your specialist area, and ensure that departmental practices and procedures comply with Legal Aid Agency, Lexcel and firm standards
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ PQE and solid experience in Children Law, with the ability to undertake a mix of public and private children and domestic abuse work. Advocacy experience, preferably at all levels of court, is essential.

- Experience working within the Legal Aid Agency’s CCMS system and contract requirements
- Excellent communication, problem solving and legal research skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure and meet targets
