Private Family Solicitor (1-3 PQE) – Berkhamsted – Up to £48,000 + Benefits + Bonus
A highly regarded, long-established regional law firm is looking to appoint a Private Family Solicitor in Berkhamsted to join its top-tier Legal 500 team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Family Solicitor in Berkhamsted to work on high-quality, privately funded matters within a collaborative and people-focused environment.
You will join a close-knit team of five, working directly with highly experienced family practitioners, gaining exceptional mentoring and structured development. As a Private Family Solicitor in Berkhamsted, you will handle complex HNW and ULHNW matters, offering genuine progression through a clear succession plan.
The Role
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters
- Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children work
- Supporting on complex HNW and ULHNW cases
- Drafting court documents, applications and client correspondence
- Representing clients at hearings and liaising with counsel
- Advising on matters involving businesses, overseas assets and investments
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives

The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with circa 2 PQE in family law
- Experience handling privately funded matters
- Strong technical knowledge of divorce and financial remedy work
- Keen to work on complex, high-value financial cases
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Commercial and pragmatic approach
- Ambitious with a desire to progress to Associate level
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
