Family Associate

Chadwick Nott are delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Top 100 UK law firm in the growth of its award-winning Family team in Bristol.
Opportunities at this level within a leading national firm are increasingly rare, particularly within a team that is consistently recognised in the Legal 500 and works on a steady flow of high-value, privately funded family matters. Having made a number of successful placements with this firm across multiple practice areas, we can genuinely vouch for both the quality of work and the supportive, people-focused culture on offer.
Working closely with a respected and established team, you'll advise a broad client base that includes high net worth individuals, professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs and clients. You'll be stepping into a varied caseload that includes:
- Complex financial remedy and divorce matters
- Private children law disputes
- Cohabitation and relationship breakdown cases
- High net worth and business asset cases
- Matters involving agricultural interests and family businesses
- Advising professional clients and entrepreneurs on sensitive family law issues

Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with ideally 3+ years' PQE
- Strong experience handling privately funded family law matters
- Proven expertise in financial remedy and private children work
- Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness
- Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills
- An interest in business development and growing professional connections
