Family Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Somerset | Competitive Salary + Benefits

An established and highly regarded law firm in Somerset is seeking a Family Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join its growing family law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working across a broad range of both private and public family law matters.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior members of the team on more complex matters. The successful candidate will advise clients on a wide variety of family law issues, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy matters
  • Private children proceedings
  • Cohabitation and relationship disputes
  • Domestic abuse and injunction applications
  • Care proceedings
  • Public law children matters
  • Child protection issues
  • Special guardianship and adoption matters

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in family law
  • Experience handling both private and public family law matters
  • Strong client care and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
