An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Matrimonial / Family Lawyer to join a well-established law firm with a strong presence across Herefordshire.
As a Matrimonial / Family Lawyer, you will join an expanding Family Law department, managing quality private family work within a supportive practice that offers flexibility and opportunities for career development.
This role offers hybrid working options, salary range of A GBP 45,000 : A GBP 65,000 (DOE) plus bonus and benefits. This role offers a relocation package.
The role is preferably based in Hereford, although Leominster may also be considered.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Managing your own caseload of private family law matters.
- Advising clients on divorce and separation.
- Handling matrimonial finance and financial settlement matters.
- Advising on private children matters.
- Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
- Preparing cases and documentation for court proceedings where required.
- Building strong and trusted relationships with clients.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Family Law department.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the team.

What We Are Looking For
- Previously worked as a Family Lawyer, Matrimonial Lawyer, Family Solicitor, Matrimonial Solicitor, Legal Executive or in a similar role.
- Experience in handling private family law and private children matters.
- Understanding of matrimonial finance and financial settlements
- Ability to independently manage a varied caseload.
- Strong client care, communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial approach with a genuine interest in developing within the firm.
